Call for Papers: ASSA/AFEA 2017 Conference

The African Finance and Economics Association (AFEA) will hold its annual winter meeting on January 6-8, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois. Both members and non-members are invited to submit papers which deal with all aspects of economic development of African economies and/or economic growth concerns of Africans in the diaspora to this meeting. We require that for a paper to be included in the program, at least one of the authors submitting each paper become a member of AFEA. Authors whose papers have been provisionally accepted but are not yet AFEA members or have an expired membership dues will be provided opportunity to join or settle that annual dues for the year before the program is finalized. Additional Information: Conference attendees must also register with the ASSA to attend the ASSA annual meeting by paying the ASSA conference registration fees. All attendees of the AFEA sessions are expected to pay the ASSA conference registration fees, which will entitle you to name badge, benefit from hotel discount and use of the book exhibit. ASSA registration will open in late August 2016.
